The future is already here
We are often in thought about the world of work and our role within it. With the rise of machine learning, big data, the internet of things, block chain, additive manufacturing and the like, we are becoming ever more interested in the impact such innovation will have on defining the workplace as we once knew it.
By 2030, China plans to become the world leader for Artificial Intelligence dubbed “AI”, developing an industry worth 150 billion dollars. The American government are developing strategies for Artificial Intelligence, making funding available for AI research, design and implementation. Within this context, it is easy to see that Artificial Intelligence, although able to improve the consumer experience, has the potential to impact macroeconomics and global trade.
Organisations are at the whim of global policy and AI development. The notion of strategic planning, not including international AI and policy development, is thus short-sighted. If your organisation operates in this ever-changing environment, you may feel as though you are unable to keep up. Leaders of organisations need to keep their fingers on the synthetic pulse of technology and adjust their business models accordingly.
To create value in the future, individuals and organisations need to leverage the opportunities of tomorrow, today. Founded on this premise, we at The Synergiser Group aim to challenge today’s thinking, and develop innovative solutions which will facilitate sustainable, future growth.
As a registered Industrial and Organisational Psychologist, Psychometrist and Futurist, with more than 10 years management experience within the FMCG industry, Francisco da Silva founded The Synergiser Group with the vision of becoming the largest virtual people management and business consulting solution in Africa.
